this is the second...yes i say second suicide modification.....long story short, i was unhappy with the quality job i recieved on the first job so i went and advanced my suicide doors to not only open 90 but 140 as well! |

| The idea was to bring out the existing character of the car by keeping color count to the original red and flat/semi-gloss black.
I like the look of a sleeper, always have. No badges except for the Griffin bust where the front indented emblem was, trim removed, windows darker, all in an effort to cement that look like it means business but not Darth Vaderish. As for bling, it comes naturally if it looks like it means all business. Added trinkets are just that
trinkets.
The rims resemble the impellor on jet engines (similar to the MacLaren SLR's), and since my other hobby is performance aircraft these tied in nicely. The polished aluminum center cones finish off the idea.
I opened the head light assemblies and select-painted the interior semigloss black leaving the bezels chrome to tie in with the exhaust tips/rim center cones & lips. The hideous amber clearance lens has been shaved down and the reflective area reduced. Another appearance enhancement has been to not just paint eyelids onto the head light lens, but also the entire border. They now blend in.
For spring some really cool exterior mirrors I discovered will replace the butt-ugly (truck-like - too big) OEM units, new Altezza tail light assemblies with flat black interiors to match the fronts, remove the rear wiper and latch assemblies and smooth, build a functional rear diffuser similar to the Viper by raising/modifying the spare tire well, and finish re-molding the OEM rear spoiler I picked up from another LX member.
By then, it should be clear which aftermarket heads/cam/torque convertor/ will be installed. As it is now possible to install the SRT rear-end gearing (2.82 to 3.06) into other LX platforms by modding the code in the TCM, this will occur after the engine package has proven itself and I have located an SRT pumkin...

| 300 Conversion or SRT conversion, I am completely torn. I love the look of the 300's since I first saw them, and I love 300 wagons tooling around in Europe. On the other hand, the SRT Magnum has this pissed off look that I equally love.
Which leaves me to my problem. Before I invest in any exterior mods, I have to come up with a direction. HELP! |

I haven't been able to do much to it as of now because it has to pass the wife test and I have limited funds because I have a baby on the way but as soon as it is all mine the gloves will come off. I am more of a performance before looks person because I don't like the all show/no go theme of many people today. |

Painted calipers. Sylvania Silverstars low/high beams, PIAA front turn signals, Nokya fog lights. Full audio system.
Awaiting install: SXT black headlights & black grill (from pop's magnum). Working on getting the RT rims powder coated black.
Future: Air intake, SLP LoudMouth Exhaust system. Headers. 1.5" suspension drop. |
